SailCaribe Yacht Charters Update on the COVID-19 Situation as of May 24, 2020
We would like to let everyone know that we are thinking of you and your families during the COVID 19 Global Lockdown. We at SailCaribe are very fortunate to be safe and well while heeding all health and safety recommendations as well as local Government mandates. The health and safety of our employees and our guests is the 1st priority. Our next most and perhaps, as important priority is the quality and integrity of the vessels we manage and offer for your charter enjoyment.
As of May 24 the island of Puerto Rico and the municipalities of Vieques and Culebra remain on a curfew from 5:00am until 7:00pm. Recreational boating is now allowed but with certain limitations as no sunbathing is allowed on any of the beaches and no mooring/anchoring is allowed. Vieques and Culebra are NOT allowing any entrance to non-residents until mid June.
Per marina regulations, our staff is now able to work Monday through Saturday to perform essential maintenance tasks including the sterilization and sanitizing of all of our vessels.
We are proud to report that our fleet remains poised, safe, clean and ready for when the lock down is lifted and sailing to our beautiful Islands does not pose any risks. Our local office remains closed but we are monitoring firstname.lastname@example.org as usual. Please reach out with any questions about available discounts plus travel to PR and how we can help plan your charter to sail the Spanish Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands and BVI. We continue to hope you stay safe and please stay home to prevent the spread of this virus.
We thank you very much for your continued support during these very difficult times, and we hope you and your families stay safe.
